Refined Heritage in Pierantonio
Tucked into the Umbrian countryside, this restored casale is a timeless fusion of traditional Italian character and contemporary design. Honouring the home’s early 20th-century origins, we preserved its original stone walls and exposed wooden beams, allowing the historic structure to guide the design.
A few standout features of this project are the use of modern materials like microcement, resin, and textured plaster to balance the old with the new.
All materials that embody modern elegance while complementing the rustic charm of the home. Applied across floors, bathrooms, and select surfaces, it introduces a soft, seamless texture that enhances the home’s natural flow and quiet sophistication.
Warm earthy tones, large windows, and natural materials echo the surrounding landscape, while bespoke furnishings and carefully curated details reinforce the home’s artisanal essence. Textured plaster walls mimic the original finishes, and the interplay between old and new materials brings a sense of calm and cohesion.
This home is a tribute to Italian craftsmanship and thoughtful innovation—where heritage is preserved not by imitation, but through the artful balance of contrast and continuity.
